Author Policies

Presentation requirements, AI usage policies, and ethical responsibilities for authors publishing at RAIDS.

Welcome to RAIDS

RAIDS is pleased to welcome authors to the upcoming conference. To ensure a high-quality and professional experience, all authors are required to carefully review and comply with the policies outlined below.

At the time of camera-ready submission, authors of accepted papers must formally acknowledge these policies and confirm their compliance.

In-Person Presentation

At least one author of each accepted paper must attend the RAIDS conference in person to present the paper and must register at the in-person rate.

No Remote Presentations

All presentations must be delivered on-site. Remote or virtual presentation options are not available under any circumstances.

Camera-Ready Confirmation

During camera-ready submission, authors must acknowledge their obligation to present the paper in person or notify RAIDS immediately if unforeseen circumstances arise.

Author Commitment Statement

“I commit to ensuring that one of the authors will present the paper in person at RAIDS. If unforeseen circumstances prevent us from doing so, I will notify RAIDS immediately. I understand that failure to notify RAIDS may result in the exclusion of the paper from the proceedings.”

Use of AI Tools

Papers containing text generated by large-scale language models such as ChatGPT are prohibited, unless the generated content is part of the paper’s experimental analysis.

Permitted Assistance

Authors may use AI tools to edit or improve text they have written themselves, provided the intellectual contribution remains human-driven.

No AI Authorship

AI systems do not qualify for authorship and may not be listed as authors or cited as sources in RAIDS publications.

Authors bear full responsibility for the originality and accuracy of their work. Any allegations of plagiarism—whether resulting from AI usage or otherwise—will be thoroughly investigated by RAIDS.

Confirmed cases of plagiarism may result in rejection or retraction of the paper, notification of the authors’ institutions or employers, and restricted participation in future RAIDS events.
