RAIDS Student Abstract & Poster Program

Call for Proposals — A dedicated forum for undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students to present early-stage research, exchange ideas, and engage with the global AI and data science community.

Program Overview

The Rwanda AI & Data Science Conference (RAIDS) invites submissions to the Student Abstract and Poster Program. This initiative provides students with an opportunity to showcase early-stage research, connect with peers, and introduce their work to senior members of the AI research community.

The program is open to students at the Undergraduate, Master’s, and Doctoral levels. While advisors and collaborators should be acknowledged appropriately, submissions are expected to reflect work in which students are the primary investigators.

Connection to the Collaborative Bridge Theme

RAIDS emphasizes interdisciplinary innovation through its collaborative bridge theme. Students are uniquely positioned to combine methodologies from multiple AI disciplines.

  • Encourages integration of diverse AI methods
  • Supports interdisciplinary research collaboration
  • Abstracts should explain how multiple approaches shaped the research
  • Bridge-building discussions are strongly encouraged
